The beginnings of a firebase, getting itself ready to be assaulted by the 2nd Battalion 187th NVA Regiment and a battalion of main force VC from the 299th Provincial Mobile Regiment, the firebase will initially be garrisoned by a MACV advisory group with a company of Montagard from the CIDG, they also have received a company from the Civil Guard as intelligence has indicated the NVA / VC build up in the area..
